The flour mill was used for a timeas a tuck mill.HistoryAn oat mill is cited on the 1838 OS map, with a cloth mill to its SE. The 1840s <strong>Mill</strong>Valuation book <strong>no</strong>tes a flour mill operated by Henry Buckley. It had an 18ft x 4ftwaterwheel driving a two pairs of French burr stones. The cloth mill was also operatedby Buckley. No floors survive internally.Waterworks, plant and machineryPond and headrace infilled. Traces of tailrace along <strong>no</strong>rth side of access lane fromroad. Waterwheel pit on west gable, 1.52m ( 5ft) wide. No machinery survives.
