With such a lot of free time for young peopleduring school holidays it is very important that there are manyexciting things for them to do. The <strong>Borough</strong> of <strong>Redditch</strong> recognisesthis and a wide range of activities has been organised by your<strong>Council</strong> and partnership agencies so that young people do not getbored and can take part in interesting and worthwhile pursuits. Ourstaff are fully qualified, insured, trained and have considerableexperience of caring for young people. They have knowledge ofemergency first aid and are trained to prevent and deal withaccidents.In accordance with our child protection policy, <strong>Redditch</strong> <strong>Borough</strong><strong>Council</strong> will ensure all staff and volunteers are appropriatelyqualified and trained for the activities they deliver. We operate acomprehensive and effective recruitment process which involves allstaff completing an enhanced criminal records bureau check. Participants are expected to behave courteously and with respectfor other people and property at all times. They also need to follow rulesand guidelines set out for their safety given by the adult in charge.Should your child behave in an anti-social manner verbal warnings will begiven. In the case of continuing bad behaviour or serious incidences causingdisruption of the activities or a threat to safety you may be contacted tocollect your child.
