LiaisonOfficer under the charge of a Chief Liaison Officer assists this cell at Head Office, whereasAssistant Liaison Officers head the Cell at various Regional Offices.Once in a year, the Liaison Officer from the Head Office inspects the Rosters pertainingto recruitments and promotions at all Regional Offices. <strong>The</strong> inspection reports, with the observationsof Liaison Officer, are put up to the General Manager (Personnel) and Chief LiaisonOfficer for further directions and sent back to the respective Regional offices. Based on theinspection report, efforts are taken by the concerned Regional office in coordination with the HeadOffice to clear the backlog and rectify the shortcomings in the procedure, if any, observed by theLiaison Officer.<strong>The</strong> grievances and complaints are investigated and resolved immediately.Staff Welfare Schemes<strong>The</strong> <strong>Co</strong>mpany has various schemes for Staff Welfare taking utmost care of entire <strong>New</strong> <strong>India</strong>24
