LUNCHES AND SNACKSStudents enrolled in half-day sessions should bring a drink and snack each day. A short break is included during each class. Studentsenrolled in full day classes will eat with their teacher and classmates. They may bring a lunch or, if entering Kindergarten orhigher grades, enjoy a freshly prepared meal at the Tartan Cafe.Please be aware we have students with food allergies. You may send the snacks your child prefers without restrictions; however,please instruct your child not to share any food while at school.THE TARTAN CAFEEach day, several entrees, along with a selection of fresh salads, fruits, and dessert, will be available. Entrees will include chickensandwiches or tenders, burgers, deli sandwiches, and pizza. Menu choices will be consistent with the school year options. Studentsentering grades K-5 will be able to select one entrée, one side, a beverage, (juice, milk or bottled water), and one dessert each dayduring the week(s) enrolled. Students entering grades 6-12 will be able to select one entree, two sides, fruit or salad, one dessertand a 20oz. fountain drink (with one refill).A weekly meal plan for the Tartan Café can be selected online with your course registration. The cost will be billed to your <strong>Lake</strong><strong>Highland</strong> account. The rate for Kindergarten-5th grade is $35/week; 6th-12th grade is $40/week. The Tartan Cafe will not be openJune 29th - July 2nd. Classes will not meet July 3rd.If you have purchased the lunch plan during a week your child will be off-campus due to a field trip, the cafeteria will provide a baglunch.Students who are not enrolled in a weekly lunch plan may still purchase a lunch, drinks, or snacks. Cash is the only accepted paymentmethod. Meal tickets from the 2014-2015 school year and personal checks will not be accepted.Middle and Upper <strong>School</strong> students are not to leave campus for lunch. They must be on campus until the conclusion of classeach day.TRANSPORTATION• Parents must remain in cars when in the carpool lanes. Teachers or coaches will assist students. Parking is not allowed inthese lanes.• Do not stop teachers after school for unscheduled conversations. Most teachers have an assigned traffic duty; it is vital they be inposition on time for the safety of the students.• Please discuss with your child the importance of good behavior while waiting to be picked up and the importance of listeningfor names to be called.• Cell phone use while operating a vehicle on campus is prohibited. If you must place or accept an emergency call, please parkin a designated parking place to do so. This is a vital safety issue and violators will be reported to Security and the Office of thePresident.• Lower <strong>School</strong> students are to be dropped off and picked up at the Bradshaw Lower <strong>School</strong> building. Summer instructors willemail additional information to each family stating specific location, front or back of the building.• Middle <strong>School</strong> classes will be meeting on the Charles Clayton Campus. Drivers enter and exit campus from Shine Street, Gate 2.• Upper <strong>School</strong> students should park in the <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>Highland</strong> Athletic Complex (LHAC) lot.• Students participating in Athletic Camps will be notified by coaches and instructed where to drop-off and/or pickup, eitherin front of the Lower <strong>School</strong> Bradshaw Building, the Charles Clayton Middle <strong>School</strong>, or the <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>Highland</strong> Athletic Complex.Morning drop-off may differ from the afternoon pickup point.Summer Spectacular 2015 | 4
