AthleticsWeekly athletic camps are designed to develop each player’s skills, increase knowledge of game strategies, and model goodsportsmanship. Grade levels for each camp are suggested and coaches ensure each player receives appropriate instruction andchallenge regardless of entering skill level.Splash Camp (entering Kindergarten–5th grade)Students will participate in a variety of fun water games and activities in <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>Highland</strong>’s state-of-the-art Olympic Aquatic facility.Campers will also be involved in other sporting events such as baseball, kickball, and team games outside of the pool. In additionto our activities at <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>Highland</strong>, campers will be offered the opportunity to visit and explore Coco Key Water Park, an additionalaquatic facility that features zero-depth splash pads, a water playground, and a variety of water slides. The field trips to Coco Keywill be Thursday of each camp week. Golfers, beginners, intermediate, or advanced, will have the opportunity to learn and improvethe essential techniques of golf, regardless of skill level. Each day, golfers will travel on <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>Highland</strong> buses from the LHPS campusto Shingle Creek for a total of four hours of specialized instruction. A variety of programs and activities will be used, and studentsmay participate in more than one session. Clubs will be available, if needed. This is an excellent introduction for those students interested in competing on the LHPS Archery Team during theschool year.
