Beat the Heat (entering 1st-6th grade)Get those swimsuits ready and lose the excuse that it’s “too hot outside.” Beat the Heat camp will provide numerous water activitiesthroughout each day. From swimming and diving at LHP’s Aquatic facility to games involving sprinklers, Slip ‘n Slides, and waterballoons, each day is sure to make a big splash with your child. We’ll even venture out to various splash pads around town with a stopor two at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. We will get our hands covered in frosting and fondant and make suchbeautiful pastries that we may not want to eat them. We will interview andphotograph those responsible for the operations, decisions, and leadership of our city then create a hardbound volume of ourjourneys and memories.
