The tenders will be submitted in one envelop containing two separate sealed envelops, one forTechnical bid and another for Financial bid. Initially, in first stage, first envelop containing thetechnical bid will be opened and in stage two the second envelop containing financial bid of thesuccessful bidders of stage one will be opened. Detailed Terms & Conditions1)Validity of tenders shall be 120 days from the date of the opening the tenders2)The Contractors/agencies will arrange for workers Insurance, Identity cards, RubberGloves, Helmets & other safety equipments wherever required.2) The Labour engaged by the contractor will have no relation regarding employmentwith the Municipal Corporation Jalandhar. In case of any accident, the soleresponsibility will be of the contractor /agency3) The Contractor/agency will be responsible to follow/Maintain Labour Laws, P.Fact/rules & Income tax rules etc. as payable for the labour engaged for the work.4) Income Tax/Sale Tax/Vat/Labour cess or any other tax if levied by Govt. will bededucted from the bill.5) The Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jalandhar will be the sole Arbitrator incase any dispute arises during / after execution of the work.6) All legal proceedings with the contractor will be subject to the territorial jurisdictionof Civil Courts at Jalandhar.7) The estimated amount, quantities and scope of work can be increased or decreased.8) The Contractors/Agency should not be black listed from any department and anaffidavit/undertaking will be required to be submitted along with tender.9) Rates will be quoted with pen/ball pen & it should be covered with Cello tape.10) Contractors/agencies will have to quote their rates in percentage (minus or plus) onC.S.R+ N.S.P as well as on N.S items. Conditional, Over writing, Telegraphic andIncomplete tenders shall be rejected.11) Free of cost condition and other conditional rates which are not covered in the scopeof estimates shall not be considered & in such cases tender will be straight wayrejected.12) The Payment of final bill will be made on the basis of the lowest Comparativestatement worked out at the final stage.13) The Contractors will not sub-let the contract to any other agency.14) The Contractor/ agency must have Vat No. for tender above Rs. 5.00 Lacs as perGovt. rules.15) Any tender can be rejected without assigning any reason by M.C.Jalandhar.17. The work shall be executed as per IRC/PWD and NIT specifications.18.
