88JAMES FINDLAYFRAME,some years inmember store keeping, saw millof the Provincial Legislature,senior member of the Ont., and removed to Manitoba,and farming pursuits, in Simcoe County,firm of Frame & inMiller, hardware and 1880. In July 1882, he settled inlumber dealers, Virdeu, Manitoba, wasborn September 4th, 1841, at New Virden, and was a member of the firstYork,U.S.A. His parents were municipal council. He was Reeve ofJohn and Wallace Municipality, from 1887 toMary (Findlay) Frame, both natives ofGlasgow, Scotland.1891, inclusive, and elected Conservativemember for the Local House, toMr. Frame settledin Simcoe County, Ontario, where hisparents died. He represent Dennis County, July received 23rd,his early 1892. He is a member of St. Andrew'seducation in the public schools of thatcounty, a Society, A.O.U.W., and the Disciplesprivate college at Williamsville,N. Y., and subsequently took a 1888, to Miss Abbie Mary, daughter ofcourse in the Business College, Pough-Church. He was married, July 24th,keepsie, N. Y. He David Layton, P.was then M., Meaford, Out.engaged for They have one son and one daughter.
