59,EV. SAMUEL HOWARD, Methodistminister, Hampton,_ Kings County, N.B., wasborn at Cornwall, P.E.I., February2 ist, 1859. He is the son of Samueland Mary Howard, both of that place.He received his early education at theCornwall schools, and then spent twoyears at the Prince of Wales' College,Charlottetown, after which he enteredMount Allison University, at Sackville,N.B., remaining there for three years,and graduating from that institution in1884, with the degree of B.A. Hethen spent one year as assistant pastorof the Methodist Church at Fredericton,N.B. He was ordained at theJune Conference in 1885, and sent toHampton circuit. His next appointmentwas the Richmond circuit, CarletonCounty, N.B., which he served forthe full term of three years. He wasthen sent by the Conference to Centerville,wherehe also remained three years,when he was invited to return to Hamptonfor a second term, which he did in1892. Mr. Howard is an able ministerof the Gospel. He was married, December24th, 1885, to Annie J., daughterof Donald and Jane Robertson, of Hardwick,Northumberland County, N.B.His family consists of two sons,
