486.J. K. FRASER, B. A., Mr. Fraser was educated at the PrincePresbyterian Minister, Alberton,P.E.I., was born there,of Wales College, Charlottetown, andAugust 3ist, 1864. His father, thelate Rev. Allan Fraser, was, for fifteenyears, the beloved pastor of the church,whose pulpit his son now occupies. from which he graduated in 1891, withHe died in 1870, aged 45 years, deeplyregretted. His wife, Annie Keir Fraser,who is still living and resides with herson, is a daughter of the late widelyknown Rev. Dr. Keir, professor of theoologyto the Lower Province Synod. Itwas but fitting, that the daughter of sucha revered and excellent man should bethe wife of one equally pious and Godly.Dalhousie University, Halifax, wherehe took the degree of B.A. in 1889, afterwhich he took his theological course inthe Presbyterian College, Montreal,first rank honors, taking the gold medal.While in Montreal, Mr. Fraser editedthe Presbyterian College Journal. Heis an earnest and eloquent advocate ofprohibition, and has been asked to publishhis lectures and speeches on thissubject, which are highly interesting.He entered upon his present chargein 1891.
