In politics, DoctorRobertson is a Liberal, and has beenHe was a memberprominently connected with his partyin Prince Edward Island. In 1870, hewas returned to the Legislative Assemblyby acclamation, and again byacclamationin 1872.of the Hy thorn-Palmer Liberal Governmentuntil 1873, re-elected in 1876.He was a member of the Davies' Governmentfor a few months during 1878-79, defeated in 1879, but re-elected in1882, in which year he also resigned torun for the House of Commons, andwas elected, and re-elected M.
