MKN275iOLIN CHISHOLM, Barrister,Sydney, N.S., was born in 1850,ity of Cape Breton County, from 1883to 1886. He resigned to accept nominationof the Liberal-Conservativeparty for the House of Assembly ofNova Scotia, and was elected in 1886,Councillor, also clerk of the Municipal-at Long Point, InvernessCounty, C.B. He is the son of Roderickand Isabella (McKenzie) Chisholm,natives of Nova Scotia, but ofScotch descent. Mr. Chisholm received and sat during the term 1886-1890.his education at Belle Air College, and He is at present secretary of the Liberal-ConservativeAssociation of Capeby private tuition, under the late Mr.McCulloch, Halifax. He prosecuted Breton County. In religion, Mr. Chisholmis a Roman Catholic, and a mem-his law studies with Sir John Thompson,and was admitted to the Bar in ber and president of the Sydney Branch1879, since which time he has practiced of the C.M.B.A. He was married, inhis profession in Sydney, and has February, 1885, to Eveline, daughterbe<strong>com</strong>e well-known for his skill in of the late Alexander Mclnnis,legal matters.
