,EV'D. FATHER EDMONDDOYLE, of Mill Town, CharlotteCounty, N.B., wasborn at Youghal, County of Cork,Ireland, April loth, 1839. He is theHe was ordained priest, June 29th,1866, by the Right Rev. Dr. Whelan,Bishop of Bombay, India, at the Collegeof All Hallows, and after ordinationhe came to the City of St. John,son of Denis Doyle and Catherine and officiated as curate at the CathedralMurphy, both of County Cork. He for five years, when he was givenreceived his early education at the charge of the parishes of St. GeorgeNational and Classical schools of the and Roblingdam, where he remainedCounty of Cork, after which he spent for over fifteen years, during whicha term at the Seminary of Mount Malleray,in the County of Waterford, and and other parishes, until September,time he also had charge of St. Andrew'sgraduated with honors. He then enteredthe College of All Hallows, parishes of Mill Town and St. Stephen,1886 when he was transferred to theDublin, from which institution he also N.B.
