McMILLAN, ProvincialTreasurer, Winnipeg, Man.,was born in January, 1846,three degree in Ancient and AcceptedScottish Rite, and has also alwaystaken an active part in military matters.in Ontario County, Ont His parentswere James and Eleanor McMillan. HeHe went to Winnipeg in 1870, on theRed River expedition, under Col. (nowreceived his education at the public and Lord) Wolseley, in <strong>com</strong>mand of AGrammar schools of Ontario. He representedWinnipeg in the Provincial was seniorCompany, First Ontario Rifles. HeLegislature, from major of 95th Battalion,1879 to 1882, andCentre Winnipeg, from during North-West troubles, in 1885,July, 1888, to and <strong>com</strong>manded the battalion as lieutcol.,the present time, in the interests of theLiberal party. He since 1886. In 1864, served fourhas been a member months at Niagara, in Provisional Battalion,under Col.
