MKNCANADA.CLARENCE SHARP, M.D.,ISAAC C.M., Marysville, York County,N.B., was born at Studholm, KingsCounty, N.B., November 25th, 1856.He is the son of Isaac N. and BathshebaSharp, both of Studholm. He receivedhis early education at the schools ofMillstream, the Grammar School, Harnton,and the Normal School, Fredericton.He then taught school for two years,after which he entered the CollegiateInstitute, Fredericton, graduating withfirst-class honors. After teaching againfor two years, he entered McGill University,Montreal, to study medicine,graduating in 1884, with the degreeof M.D., C.M. After graduation, hewas for a time resident surgeon of theGeneral Hospital, Montreal, and inJune, 1885, <strong>com</strong>menced his practice inMarysville, N.B., where he has achievedmuch success. Dr. Sharpis a memberof the I.O.O.F., I.O.F., and the Maritimeand New Brunswick Medical associations,and ispresident of thelatter. He has been a member of theMarysville Town Council since its inauguration.In politics, he is a Conservative,and in religion, an Episcopalian.On July 6th, 1887, he marriedHelen J., daughter of Cosmo F. McLeod,Esq., of Belleisle, Kings County, N.B.
