,EV. FATHER AMADEUS A.BOUCHER, Upper Charlo,Restigouche County, N.B.,was born at Yainachiche, St. Mauriceof St.priest to Rev. Father Richard,Louis, Kent County, N.B. Two yearsafter this he was appointed assistantpriest to Rev. Father T. F. Barry, remaining-with him eight months, and inCounty, P.Q., February 23rd, 1857.His parents were Alexis Boucher and the Fall of 1 88 1, he took charge of theDelphine Lefebvre de Villemure, both Parish of St. Margarets,natives of Quebec Province. He NorthumberlandCounty, N.B., where he continuedreceivedhis early education at the for four years, when he was appointedChristian Brothers' School at Yainachiche,and his classical course at thepastor of the Church of St. Francis Xavier,Upper Charlo, where he still conti-Seminary of Three Rivers, entered the nues.
