The Ala Moana Hotel isjust a short walk away.Dem<strong>on</strong>strati<strong>on</strong>s and Experiments: Now in Its 15th C<strong>on</strong>secutive Year!The EMC <str<strong>on</strong>g>2007</str<strong>on</strong>g> Technical Program also includes hands <strong>on</strong> dem<strong>on</strong>strati<strong>on</strong>sand experiments. Several software and hardware dem<strong>on</strong>strati<strong>on</strong>swill be scheduled in the exhibit hall during exhibit hours at theHawai’i C<strong>on</strong>venti<strong>on</strong> Center over July 10-12. The hardware experimentsare devoted to dem<strong>on</strong>strating important EMC c<strong>on</strong>cepts througha series of interactive experiments. The experiments cover a wide rangeof <strong>electromagnetic</strong> effects. This year’s experiments will include measurementautomati<strong>on</strong>, the use of RF field probes, reverberati<strong>on</strong> chambertechniques, TEM cells, ESD and time domain techniques. In the softwaredem<strong>on</strong>strati<strong>on</strong>s, fundamental EMC modeling approaches andsimulati<strong>on</strong> methods are illustrated through a series of interactive computerdem<strong>on</strong>strati<strong>on</strong>s. Various computati<strong>on</strong>al <strong>electromagnetic</strong> (CEM)modeling techniques will be dem<strong>on</strong>strated illustrating their applicati<strong>on</strong>to both well defined can<strong>on</strong>ical-type problems and real world EMCproblems in order to show specifically how these techniques can beapplied.
