CHAPTER 14Generating Reports of NetworkActivityHistorical Reports is a tool that makes summaries and reports of the Firebox® log file. You can use thesereports to learn about Internet use. You also can measure bandwidth and see which users and softwareapplications use the most bandwidth. Historical Reports creates reports from the log files that arerecorded on the WatchGuard® Log Server.With the advanced features of Historical Reports, you can:• Set a specified time period for a report.• Customize the report with data filters.• Consolidate different log files to create a report for a group of Fireboxes.• Show the report data in different formats.Creating and Editing ReportsWhen you make a report, you configure a group of settings that is used to create a report on a schedulethat you select.
