The recipient of the file simplydouble-clicks <strong>and</strong> views the file withoutusing <strong>PaperPort</strong>.A high-resolution image file format.To export an item:1. In Desktop View, select the item you want to export.You can export both individual items <strong>and</strong> stacks. To export a pagefrom a stack, unstack the page from the stack <strong>and</strong> select it.2. From the File menu, choose Export.3. Select the folder where you want to save the item.4. Select the file format from the Save as Type drop-down list.By default, <strong>PaperPort</strong> uses the file format <strong>PaperPort</strong> Files (*.MAX).If you export a <strong>PaperPort</strong> item in any format other than a <strong>PaperPort</strong>(.MAX) file, annotations in that file cannot be edited, deleted, ormoved. If the annotations are hidden, they are not exported.5. Type the name of the file in the File Name box.Note: If you don’t type a name for the file, <strong>PaperPort</strong> uses the item’stitle.
