Click the TWAIN button on the control panel.If you are using a PaperPort scanner, the PaperPort Scan Managerappears.The PaperPort Scan Manager dialog box appears. The followingfigure is a sample of the dialog box. The one you see might beslightly different for your scanner. For information about thePaperPort Scan Manager’s features, see the Scanner Help.3. In Scan Page For, select the scan setting you want, such as Faxing,Filing, or Copying to fax an item.4. Click the Preview button. The scanner scans the item and displays apreview of the item in the Preview area of the PaperPort ScanManager dialog box.5. To select the area to scan, drag the red rectangle until it surroundsthe area you want scanned.
