Product requirementsAll items must comply with our product requirements, including envelope layout standards formanually-sorted Bulk Mail and addressing layout standards, as updated from time to time.For full details of our requirements refer to the following brochures:Domestic Bulk Mail Envelope Layout Standards (ADV391)Bulk Mail Rate cardThese brochures are available on our website, www.nzpost.co.nz, or by calling our CustomerService Centre on 0800 501 501.We will check your mail at a <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> Mail Service Centre to see if it meets the productrequirements. If your mail does not meet these requirements, it will be uprated to the applicableproduct (and you will be charged on the basis of the applicable product to which your mail hasbeen uprated, not Print<strong>Post</strong>).Permit<strong>Post</strong>Each item must have an approved Permit<strong>Post</strong> impression, which includes:either an approved <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> standard or customised Permit<strong>Post</strong> impression;your allocated Permit<strong>Post</strong> number; andthe words ‘<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong>’.The Permit<strong>Post</strong> impression must be clearly visible. Ideally it should be located on the top righthand corner of the envelope, item or address label. Otherwise it can be placed anywhere on thefront of the mail piece, as long as it is on the same side as the delivery address. For furtherinformation, refer to the Domestic Bulk Mail Envelope Layout Standards (ADV391) or thePermit<strong>Post</strong> section of this <strong><strong>Post</strong>al</strong> Users’ <strong>Guide</strong>.Delivery addressAll items must have a valid <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> delivery address, including the correct<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> postcode.The delivery address, if printed directly onto the envelope or packaging, needs to be easily legible(at least size 8 font), printed in 3-4 line address format, and include the correct <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong>postcode.The delivery address must not include a Round Number (e.g NMS005information see Print PreSort section of this <strong><strong>Post</strong>al</strong> Users’ <strong>Guide</strong>.6). For furtherWe will monitor your returned mail volumes. We reserve the right to charge you full postage ratesfor any returned mail.Statement of AccuracyA Statement of Accuracy (SOA) ID and % rating must be declared on the Statement of <strong>Post</strong>ingaccompanying the lodgement. If the declaration is missing or incomplete, non-conformance rateswill apply (see the Bulk Mail rate card (ADV393) for details).All lodgements must have a SOA of 85% to continue to receive Print<strong>Post</strong> rates on the totallodgement.
