<strong>Wedding</strong> <strong>Reception</strong> <strong>Information</strong>The <strong>Seattle</strong> <strong>Yacht</strong> <strong>Club</strong> is available to members and their bona fide guests. Non members may use the clubfacilities if they are sponsored by a member and comply with club policies.Booking your <strong>Reception</strong>Prior to looking into other details, make sure your date is available at the club. Many dates are reservedannually, and may preclude any other activity. Many parties choose to arrange the rehearsal dinner theevening before the wedding. The <strong>Seattle</strong> <strong>Yacht</strong> <strong>Club</strong> can easily accommodate this type of arrangement.Please call the Catering Department for accommodation fees.The following services are offered for the accommodation fee:! All labor costs! Ice, glassware, and cocktail napkins! Linen! The use of toasting goblets, cake knife,! Set-up costs, silver service, china, andvotive candles, mirror tiles, indoor PAutensilssystem and cordless microphone! Tables and chairsBillingFor all member, and member sponsored functions, there is a non-refundable $1,000 depositrequired. No dates will be reserved until this is received. This amount will be credited towardthe entire bill. All charges incurred are due within two (2) weeks after the date of thereception.Service Charge and TaxAll food and beverage sales are subject to a 20% service charge and the entire bill to statesales tax.SYC/November 2008


Food & BeverageAll food and beverage must be purchased through <strong>Seattle</strong> <strong>Yacht</strong> <strong>Club</strong> and served by ourstaff. This policy applies to all receptions and wedding related functions such as rehearsals,photographic activities, decorating parties, etc. If you wish to bring in special wine for youroccasion, a corkage fee per bottle will apply. <strong>Reception</strong> buffet items will be replenished asneeded for up to 3 hours maximum. Remaining food items from the buffet or cateredfunction cannot be removed from the premises. This policy applies to all perishable food,including entrees for guaranteed guests unable to attend.Snacks and beverages can be provided for the bridal party during dressing and photos foran extra charge. No outside food or beverages may be brought in and consumed onpremises.Cake CuttingYour wedding cake will be cut and served to the guests by our staff, along with coffee andtea. Please call for fees.FlowersAny flowers that you would like to have displayed in the club should be organizedthrough your florist. We will be happy to make some recommendations on florists in thearea.Music and DancingArranging the music for the reception is your responsibility. We have a list of musiciansthat have performed at the club in the past, and would be happy to offer some guidance.Music must conclude by 12:00 midnight.Equipment Rental <strong>Information</strong>Please call for specific charges.SYC/November 2008
