Creating debug hardware target configurations5.8 Removing devices from the scan chainTo remove an unwanted device from the scan chain:1. Select the Devices node in the tree diagram.2. Select the device in the scan chain configuration.3. Click Remove. If a device has a child component, a confirmation prompt is displayed.NoteIf a scan chain configuration is already set up and has a platform assigned to it, you cannotremove a device. If you want to remove a device from the scan chain:1. Click Clear Platform.2.
