Creating debug hardware target configurations5.6 Autoconfiguring a scan chainTo autoconfigure a scan chain:1. Select the Devices node in the tree diagram.If a scan chain configuration is already set up and has a platform assigned to it,autoconfiguration is disabled in Debug Hardware Config. If you want to reconfigure thescan chain automatically, click Clear Platform before continuing.NoteBefore you autoconfigure a target that supports both JTAG and SWD, you must firstenable Use SWJ Switching in the Advanced configuration settings.2. Click on Auto Configure. Each detected device is added to the scan chain configurationlist in the control pane, and is also added to the tree diagram. In many cases, this is all thatyou have to do to configure the scan chain. You must then configure the devicesthemselves.3.
