Managing <strong>the</strong> firmware on your debug hardware unit4.3 Viewing software version numbersTo view software version numbers, select Version Info... from <strong>the</strong> RVI menu in <strong>the</strong> RVI Updateutility. The Version Info dialog box displays a window giving version information. An exampleis shown in <strong>the</strong> following figure:Figure 4-1 Version informationThe text above <strong>the</strong> scrolling list shows <strong>the</strong> version number of <strong>the</strong> software release that isinstalled, in <strong>the</strong> format:This is release version number major.minor.patchwhere:majorminorpatchis <strong>the</strong> major release version numberis <strong>the</strong> minor release version numberis <strong>the</strong> patch level of <strong>the</strong> major.minor version.The scrolling list shows <strong>the</strong> version number of each component of <strong>the</strong> installed software.The Log... button enables you to save <strong>the</strong> version information to a file.
