Configuring CoreSight systems6.8 Trace Association Editor dialog boxThe Trace Association Editor dialog box enables you to set up device associations for aCoreSight system. All associations are shown expanded by default. The following figure showsan example:Figure 6-2 Trace Association Editor dialog boxThe devices shown in <strong>the</strong> Trace Association Editor dialog box reflect <strong>the</strong> order of those in <strong>the</strong>scan chain. To expand <strong>the</strong> details for a device, ei<strong>the</strong>r double-click on <strong>the</strong> device name, or click<strong>the</strong> + button for <strong>the</strong> device.To assign an association to a device:1. Double-click for <strong>the</strong> device to display <strong>the</strong> Edit Association dialogbox. The following figure shows an example:Figure 6-3 Edit Association dialog box2. Select <strong>the</strong> required device to be used for <strong>the</strong> association from <strong>the</strong> drop-down list on <strong>the</strong>left of <strong>the</strong> dialog box.3. Type a description of <strong>the</strong> association in <strong>the</strong> field on <strong>the</strong> right.4. Click OK.To change any typed text, double-click on an association description, and edit <strong>the</strong> text in <strong>the</strong> EditAssociation dialog.To delete an association description, select <strong>the</strong> association and click Delete.To clear all associations created, click Delete All.To save your associations to a file:1.
