On average99 percent of seniors enroll in a two or four-year college following graduation. <strong>Hoban</strong> iscommitted to making Catholic education available to an economically, academically andethnically diverse student population. The Brothers of Holy Cross founded the school in 1953to serve boys from grades 9 through 12. In 1973, the school became coed. In 1976, the layBoard of Directors assumed major governance responsibilities. Historically, due to its quality students and rigorous curriculum,even students ranking in the lowest quintile have been acceptedand have succeeded in higher education. Colleges should analyzecarefully not only the transcript, but also the student description,faculty recommendations and school profile.
