Actassi CL-MX cables3 times improved performance with1 new metallic crossfillerVisit: http://tv.schneiderelectric.com,todownload the ActassiCL-MX cable videoThe patented crossfiller brings 3x shielding and superior Electro Magnetic Compatibility(EMC). Thanks to the unique design, the EMC performance is among thebest in the market with performances exceeding the standard requirements forshielded cables with braid (S/FTP). The metallic crossfiller ensures an improvedtransfer impedance to fit requirements of sensitive areas where data transmissionis critical. Better link performanceWith Actassi CL-MX the installations are easy andsafe. According to the international stand-ards forshielded LAN cables, the use of CL-MX cables willrequire less installation operations:- No separation distance to power cabling*- No ANEXT field testing*EN 50174-2 to be referredThe fire propertiesare documented bystandardized methodsaccording to IEC60332-1,60332-3C,60754-1 and60754-2.Improved safety in case of fireActassi CL-MX is available in two versions, theflame retardant LSZH and the fire retardantLSFRZH. Both are halogen-free. In case of fire, the result of using CL-MX is the reduction of theemissions of opaque smoke and acid gases. Thus, it helps reducing damages to equipmentand allows people to escape from the buildingmore easily.Less cutting with Actassi CL-MX3Three times fasterinstallation withActassi CL-MXUse the cable strippertool and cut the outersheath.Cut the one single foilmetallic crossfiller andremove it witha simple grip.Your CL-MX is readyto connect.Instead of separate wrapped-in foil pairs (like intraditional F/FTP or F/UTP cables), the ActassiCL-MX new crossfiller is wrapped in one singlefoil. This means less cutting and improved qualityof the cable preparation. No need to pay attentionto cutting the foils at exactly the same level, or tothe length of the F/UTP plastic cross. Why traditional F/FTP cables are 3 times slower to installPrepare yourtools.Use the cablestripper tooland cut theouter sheath.Cut the outerfoil.Remove the foil.Separate allpairs and thedrain wire.Cut and removethefoil of thefirst pair.Cut and removethefoil of thesecond pair.Cut and removethefoil of thethird pair.Cut and removethefoil of thefourth pair.Network Connectivity Jan 2013Actassi | 43
