Patil heard the grievances <strong>of</strong> the followingcomplainants here today.Mr. Naresh Kumar Sharma came with a request for grant <strong>of</strong> pension toretired and serving employees <strong>of</strong> <strong>Chandigarh</strong> Housing Board (CHB). To this H.E.said that, CHB is an independent body and if they have the requisite funds tocater to the needs <strong>of</strong> its presently serving and retired employees then the<strong>Administration</strong> will certainly accord its approval.In another complaint, Mr. Mohinder Singh Sangwan requested forconducting an inquiry and directing SHO <strong>of</strong> Police Station, Sector – 34 to lodgean FIR against the Nirvana Coop House Building Society and the <strong>of</strong>ficials <strong>of</strong> CoopSocieties, <strong>Chandigarh</strong> <strong>Administration</strong> for illegal approval <strong>of</strong> draw <strong>of</strong> lots <strong>of</strong>the houses to the members <strong>of</strong> the society. To this he was informed that hemust file an affidavit regarding the same and if the contents <strong>of</strong> the same aretrue, proper action will be taken against the concerned as per rules.Complainants, Ms. Kashmir Dhillon requested for wavier <strong>of</strong> interest andpenalty in respect <strong>of</strong> shop-cum-<strong>of</strong>fice; Mr. Ravinder Sharma requested for EWShouse on humanitarian grounds; Mr. Rajiv Sharma requested for allotment <strong>of</strong>house under Rehabilitation Schemes. To this it was intimated that the caseswill be carefully scrutinized and whatever can be done will be done as perrules.Mr. Yuvraj Singh appealed for action regarding litigation with hislandlord. The concerned <strong>of</strong>ficials informed that the case is already pending inthe Civil Court and the High Court. To this Mr. Patil said that the matter needsto be redressed at the courts.Another complainant Mr. Sanjay Kumar a shopkeeper in Janta ColonySector – 25 requested for the removal <strong>of</strong> illegal/unauthorized meat shops in thesector. To this it was informed that 24 challans were issued last month andsuch drives are carried out on a regular basis. Mr. Patil asked the MunicipalCorporation and the Health department to work in collaboration with eachother to solve the problem. And in case <strong>of</strong> perpetual defaulters strict actionmust be initiated.The last complainant, Mr. Sukant Gupta, asked for the payment <strong>of</strong>outstanding legal fee for his work as the Additional <strong>Public</strong> Prosecutor. Mr. Patilsaid that the cast is justified and instructed the concerned <strong>of</strong>ficials to see thatsomething is done about the case.

Shayin, Deputy Commissioner, Mrs. Prerna Puri, Secretary IT, Mr. AjoySharma, Special Secretary Finance and other concerned <strong>of</strong>ficials <strong>of</strong> the<strong>Chandigarh</strong> <strong>Administration</strong>.
