員 工 培 訓 及 發 展Staff Development由 於 過 往 一 年 會 計 準 則 不 斷 更 改 , 本 部 鼓 勵 員 工 參加 講 座 及 進 修 , 從 而 知 悉 最 新 會 計 準 則 的 變 更 及 要求 。 亦 鼓 勵 員 工 修 讀 工 作 有 關 的 課 程 , 以 增 進 會 計知 識 。 上 述 之 進 修 及 培 訓 能 提 升 員 工 專 業 知 識 和 擴闊 其 思 想 領 域 , 以 備 將 來 的 挑 戰 。Due to various changes in accounting standards during the year, staffare encouraged to attend seminars and workshops to keep themselvesabreast of the up-to-date accounting standards. They are alsoencouraged to take work related courses to enhance their knowledge onaccounting. All these are vital in enhancing their professional knowledgeand widening their mindset for future challenges.來 年 發 展Future Development本 部 繼 續 搜 集 投 資 回 報 較 高 的 投 資 產 品 供 投 資 委 員會 考 慮 。 來 年 會 為 本 部 員 工 和 屬 校 書 記 舉 辦 講 座 及工 作 坊 , 講 解 香 港 財 務 報 告 準 則 和 學 校 財 務 守 則 的更 改 及 提 供 ACCPAC 財 務 系 統 及 校 管 系 統 的 訓 練 。本 部 將 按 需 要 簡 化 工 作 程 序 , 以 達 致 提 升 效 率 和 成本 效 益 。The Finance Department will continue to explore investmentopportunities with high and stable return potentials for consideration bythe Investment Committee. Seminars and workshops will be organisedto update the accounting team and school account clerks on anyamendments of the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards, the Kuk’sFinancial Guidelines and provide training on ACCPAC and WEBSAMS.The Finance Department will seek opportunities to streamline workprocesses so as to attain greater efficiency and cost effectiveness.Po Leung Kuk Annual Report 2011-2012257
