It holds a cardboardtarget at the bottom and turns it from edge to face andback again according to your commands.Each Deluxe-90 actuator contains a built-in valveinterface that provides programmable control over eachindividual target. With the addition of our SmartRangecomputer control system, you can program independenttarget exposure and delay times, all with split-secondaccuracy. No more “after the whistle” shots! No moreconfusion! You can now train and qualify with preciseand reliable performance, time after time.A steel bar extends up one side of the cardboard targetand extends out over the center. A rubber band isstretched over this bar and attached to the top of thetarget to form the upper pivot point. The lower pivotpoint is created by securing the target directly into oneof the Deluxe-90’s tough new clamps. This approachgives you extremely fast turn times that would notbe possible with the weight and torque created bywooden target supports.Instead of using cardboard targets by themselves, tryusing our weatherproof plastic backers together withless expensive paper targets to save time and money.This self-standing actuator bolts down to a flat concretepad for simple installation. Linking the actuatorsalong the bottom with our optional ballistic racewayeliminates the need for a protective knee wall. Thismeans you can comfortably access the targets withouthaving to walk all the way around to the back.To help protect the actuator, the front surface of theDeluxe-90 accepts a standard 2 x 6 lumber facing. Thisdisposable method of covering the actuator effectivelyreduces splatter, is inexpensive, and is easy to installand replace. The Deluxe-90 can also be ordered with asteel v-nose on the front surface for protection againsthandgun rounds, or an armored steel shield to protectit from rifle rounds. Both theedge-to-face time and the face-to-edge time of the target can be controlled separately, with a range of control from 0.05 seconds to 5 seconds.The actuator utilizes a “proportional force” lever action that provides 7 ft-lbs of torque and assures consistent turning force in all directions.The Deluxe 90 can withstand impact from standard handgun bullets fired from any direction within +/- 45 degrees of perpendicular withoutsuffering debilitating damage. The Deluxe 90 accepts a replaceable, bullet absorbing, wooden facade that can be replaced using a basicscrewdriver. It is also available with an integrated v-nose front or a detached armor shield to allow the use of high power rifles (.223 & .308)without damage to the actuator. The Deluxe 90 attaches to a flat concrete surface and requires no special forming or berms for installation.It can also be mounted with portable bolt-on feet for easy repositioning. An optional ballistic raceway may be integrated to protect all air linesand/or control lines between the actuators.The Deluxe 90 can be triggered pneumatically without the use of any electricity, or it can be triggered by a 12V signal of less than 100mA.The actuator consumes about 2 cubic inches of air per actuation when it is electrically triggered. All air connections are quick-connect, push-inair fittings for use with flexible air tubing. The Deluxe 90 is capable of independent operation as well as operation in unison or in banks. Eachactuator contains a built-in interface valve for operation in pre-programmed computer scenarios.The body of the actuator is constructed of sandblasted solid steel plate with a hot dip galvanized coating. All inner parts (hoses, piston, valvesand access ports) are covered by a removable aluminum housing to protect them from the elements. The Deluxe 90 is field serviceable bystandard range personnel.
