Unpacking1. Unpack and unwrap the cash register.2. Locate in the packing the following items: 1 roll of paper 1 rewind spindle (ER-940/ER-945 only) 2 sets of control keys3. Remove the cardboard protectors from the cash drawer.4. Plug the register into a grounded outlet (three-prong), turn the power switch on, insert acontrol key and turn the key to the REG control lock position.Installing the Paper1. 3. Ensure that the paper is being fed from the bottom of the roll and then close the papercover slowly until it locks firmly.4. Pass the leading edge of the paper through the cutter slot.
