Program 80 - Function Key DescriptorProgram descriptors by typing descriptors on the alpha keyboard overlay or byentering three digit alpha character codes. To enter descriptors by three digit alphacharacter codes you must set system option #31 (See “System Option Programming” onpage 137).Note: You can program descriptors up to 18 characters, however only the first 10 willappear on the display.1. Turn the control lock to the PGM position.2. To begin the program, enter 8 0, press the SUBTL key.80 SUBTL3. If you are programming using an alpha keyboard overlay, type up to 18descriptors on the overlay, press the X/TIME key and then press the function keyyou are programming.
