A neighbourhood which is safe, clean and attractive. The opportunity to live independently for as long as possible(including appropriate use of assistive technology). Good local facilities depending on the requirements of thehousehold e.g. leisure and health facilities, parks, shopsand community facilities. Having good connections to family and friends, work andsocial networks.
