To deliver this strategy requires a joinedupapproach. As a city we are committed to planning for thesechanges and to building a better life for older people inNewcastle. We want the support of all people living in the City,young and old, in this enterprise.The Strategy for Older People and an Ageing Populationhas been developed in partnership with an extensive networkof agencies and individuals in the city. The Quality of LifePartnership’s Network Event held in November 2006 with over140 people is just one example of this.
