HOW TO FRINGE
STEP 1: BUY A BUTTON
The Fringe Button provides access to every event at
this year’s Fringe Festival. With your $5 Fringe Button,
you can purchase tickets to any Fringe show and
gain entrance to free events at Fringe Central.
STEP 2: GET A TICKET
Whatever your style there’s a show for you. Ticket
prices vary per event, and can be purchased at the
venues 30 minutes prior to showtime. Advance ticket
sales are available online at www.kcfringe.org, at
Fringe Central, and at the Fringe 411 Ticket Booth
in Crown Center. We accept most major credit cards
and good hard cash; no personal checks please.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Oh, and no
refunds after the show begins, and no late seating.
STEP 3: GET FRINGY!

FRINGE FOR FREE
FRINGE 411
While you can get show tickets at the venues, the Fringe
411 ticket booth is your one-stop shopping for tickets,
programs, show information, T-shirts, and more. It’s
located in the first floor atrium of Crown Center near
the main entrance. The hours are as follows:
Noon - 4 pm: Sat July 24 - Sun July 25
Noon - 6 pm: Mon July 26 - Wed July 28
Noon - 9 pm: Thr July 29 - Sat July 31
Noon - 4 pm: Sun August 1

Volunteers are the cornerstone of the KC Fringe Festival. Each year the efforts of our volunteers are integral
to the success of the Fringe. Volunteers assist with selling merchandise and concessions, operating our info and
ticket booths at Fringe 411 in Crown Center and Fringe Central, running the various theatrical venues, and in
many other capacities.
Volunteer shifts are arranged in four-hour blocks. All volunteers are asked to volunteer for at least 1 shift, and attend
a prefestival training session. You can volunteer for as many shifts as you like, but take time to enjoy some of the
performances as well. During your shift we ask that you do not sit in on the performances, but return at a later
time to participate in the shows. For every hour of time you donate to the festival, you will earn Fringe Bucks,
good to exchange for Fringe Festival show tickets, and Fringe Festival merchandise. They can also be used during
a Silent Auction held at our Volunteer Appreciation Party in Mid-August.

1730 Broadway is Fringe Central.
The very heart of the Fringe Festival; home to the opening
night and closing night parties, special events, staff
and volunteer check-in and so much more. After hours,
Fringe Central becomes Fringe Binge, the ultimate
party destination! Hang out with the artists, crew, and
volunteers during these all-star events. Events at Fringe
Central are free with your festival button.
