Our family farm had been in the hog business for 4 generations until 2004 when we decidedto give it up. After the urging of a couple of my friends already raising deer and my oldest son, we decidedto buy a couple of deer to raise as a hobby. Well as the story always seems to go, the hobby turned into apassion and a small business that keeps us occupied along with a retail corn and soybean seed sales businessand farming 900 acres of corn and soybeans. My wife Becky and oldest son Bryan are actively involvedin the day to day chores of our farm on anything from bottle feeding to AI work. It has truly been a familyoriented endeavor.
