We also want <strong>to</strong> provide great does for the breeding industry. We use some of the <strong>to</strong>p end sires, but try<strong>to</strong>select them carefully by look and production, not just by overall score. Our 2009 AI sires include: Bambi Escalade, Maximus DT,Poncho, BJ, Lil Bear, Sundance, Geronimo XL, and Copperhead (Rocky Ridge’s Maxbo/Bucky yearling). We have semen availablefrom 5 of our own bucks: GeMag 265” @ 4, Bravo 288 6/8” @ 4, Festus 225” @ 4, Skyscraper 230” @ 4, Ivan 225” @ 4, and SirRoland 178” @ 1.We realize the importance of the does pedigrees. We started as a hobby, the family liked huntingand fishing and then we decided <strong>to</strong> see how big we could grow a buck. After a while we dis<strong>cover</strong>ed we can make a business ou<strong>to</strong>f raising whitetails. Now the whole family is involved with feeding, bottle feeding, ect. A very interesting time for the children isat fawn season. Blue Sky was a very popular buck for us, along with his son Big Sky. Both are deceased but had wide and typicallook. Our new buck’s now are Bucky Max 340” + @3. Thanks <strong>to</strong> Will Ainsworth for purchasing partnership of Bucky Max, a Maxson out of a Bucky doe.
