We also want to provide great does for the breeding industry. We use some of the top end sires, but trytoselect them carefully by look and production, not just by overall score. Our 2009 AI sires include: Bambi Escalade, Maximus DT,Poncho, BJ, Lil Bear, Sundance, Geronimo XL, and Copperhead (Rocky Ridge’s Maxbo/Bucky yearling). We started as a hobby, the family liked huntingand fishing and then we decided to see how big we could grow a buck. After a while we discovered we can make a business outof raising whitetails. Now the whole family is involved with feeding, bottle feeding, ect. A very interesting time for the children isat fawn season. Blue Sky was a very popular buck for us, along with his son Big Sky. Both are deceased but had wide and typicallook. Our new buck’s now are Bucky Max 340” + @3. Thanks to Will Ainsworth for purchasing partnership of Bucky Max, a Maxson out of a Bucky doe.
