HL Fan-Coil Units Low-Profile, Horizontal Catalog: ET115.26-EG7 (908)FEATURES AND BENEFITSHIGH PERFORMANCEENVIRO-TEC ® HL Series horizontal low profile fan coilunits are designed to maximize flexibility of selectionand installation.The units are also designed to exceed the stringentquality standards of the institutional market, whileremaining cost competitive in the light commercial segmentof the market.ENVIRO-TEC ® horizontal fan coil units set the newstandards for quality, flexibility, and competitive pricing.DESIGN FLEXIBILITYThe extensive variety of standard options available onthe HL Series units are where you find the versatility tofit any HVAC system designer’s needs.Options include: rear or bottom ducted return, foil facedor elastomeric closed cell foam insulation, solid or telescopingbottom panels for unit recessing, single wallstainless steel drain pans, electric heat with single pointpower connection. All electric heat units are listed withETL as an assembly and carry the cETL label.All units comply with the latest edition of ARI Standard440 for testing and rating fan coil units, are certified,and display the ARI symbol.High Efficiency motors, fan relays, disconnects andfusing mean easier coordination between mechanicaland electrical trades.Coil options allow for three or four row chilled water orDX cooling coils. One or two row hot water or standardsteam coils may be placed in the preheat or reheatposition.All units are thoroughly inspected and tested prior toshipment, eliminating potential problems at startup.Motor wiring is brought to a junction box on the outsideof the unit casing, reducing electrical hook-up time.Plenum units are field reversible for either rear or bottomreturn without special adapters, tools or additionalparts.All HL Series fan coil units have the option of a hingedcover electrical enclosure in the bottom of the unit. Theexpansive compartment allows for easy access to allelectrical components, terminal blocks and wiring.Factory furnished valve packages assure proper fit,operation and performance.For fast track jobs, the HL Series fan coil is availableon Quick Ship with 5, 10 or 15 day lead times.QUALITY PRODUCTConcealed Model HL Series fan coil units are built fromgalvanized steel. This metal surpasses the ASTM 125hour salt spray test for corrosion and rust. ExposedModel HLE cabinetry is powder coated galvannealedsteel.Standard insulation is 1/2 inch thick fiberglass, complyingwith UL 181 and NFPA 90A. Optional foil faced or elastomericclosed cell foam insulation may be specified.All units, with or without electric heat, are cETL listedand labeled. All wiring is in compliance with NEC, assuringsafety and quality for the owner.HL Series fan coil units have a removable fan assembly.The entire fan assembly can be removed from the unitand serviced easily on a workbench.Silent solid state relays are available for fan and electricheat control in sound sensitive environments.CONVENIENT INSTALLATIONAll HL Series fan coil units are shipped completelyassembled, reducing field installation time and labor.ENVIRO-TEC 3
