learnersHow Does theProgramme Work?As a Youth Guarantee student, you willbe a full-time student attending ourmainstream WelTec courses and withaccess to all the WelTec services andsupport that our students enjoy. The onlydifference is that your fees are paid by agovernment-financed Youth Guaranteegrant.To qualify for the Youth Guarantee scheme,you need to study selected Level 2 or 3courses for a full year. This can be eitherone full year, or two half-year programmes.Because the programmes are free, youare not eligible for Student Loans includingloans for course-related costs. This maymean that there are certain expenses thatyou will need to meet, an example is thecost <strong>of</strong> transport to and from the WelTeccampus.
