Course InformationCourse ObjectivesThis is a 2 day course aimed at consultant orthopaedic surgeons andsenior registrars with experience and interest in the management ofproximal femoral fractures of the fragility patient.The course will take a holistic approach to these patients and includethe latest thinking surrounding new technology for managing theseprevalent fragility fractures and incorporate options for internalfixation or replacement of these injuries.Predominantly this is a practical based course demonstrating surgicalapplication of the latest innovation, but it also intends to providefurther understanding of concepts and biomechanics aimed at helpingthe delegates choose the most appropriate implant for each individualpatient.
