Course InformationCourse ObjectivesThis is a 2 day course aimed at consultant orthopaedic surgeons andsenior registrars with experience and <strong>in</strong>terest <strong>in</strong> the management ofproximal femoral fractures of the fragility patient.The course will take a holistic approach to these patients and <strong>in</strong>cludethe latest th<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g surround<strong>in</strong>g new technology for manag<strong>in</strong>g theseprevalent fragility fractures and <strong>in</strong>corporate options for <strong>in</strong>ternalfixation or replacement of these <strong>in</strong>juries.Predom<strong>in</strong>antly this is a practical based course demonstrat<strong>in</strong>g surgicalapplication of the latest <strong>in</strong>novation, but it also <strong>in</strong>tends to providefurther understand<strong>in</strong>g of concepts and biomechanics aimed at help<strong>in</strong>gthe delegates choose the most appropriate implant for each <strong>in</strong>dividualpatient.
