GSC Sentinel-2 PDGS STBDIssue 1 Revision 2 (draft) - 25.07.2010GMES-GSEG-EOPG-TN-09-0031page 23 of 603.3.2.1 Level-0 Processing3.3.2.1.1 MSI Telemetry Analysis: Parallelization by DetectorThe MSI Telemetry Analysis is performed within the GPP algorithm by the Ana_TM-Imagefunction of the Ana_TM IAS.As showed in Figure 7, Ana_TM-Image function can be parallelised by detector, then 12times. The processing can be run in real-time (i.e. with an effective I/O rate of 520Mbps), aslong as the data are received.Figure 7: possible processing parallelisation in Ana_TM Image3.3.2.1.2 Satellite Ancillary Telemetry Analysis: no parallelizationThe Satellite Ancillary Telemetry Analysis is performed within the GPP algorithm by theAna_TM-SAD function of the Ana_TM IAS. This processing step cannot be parallelisedbecause Satellite Ancillary Telemetry is expected to be transmitted in one stream but it canbe run in real-time (i.e. with an effective I/O rate of 520Mbps), as long as the data arereceived.ESA UNCLASSIFIED – For Official Use© ESAThe copyright of this document is the property of ESA.
