TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TENDER

25. The contractor will provide & maintain all items of utensils, crockery electricalappliances gas oven, LPG Cylinders etc required for cooking ,servicing andpreparation preservation of all types of food ingredients, food items etc. Theelectricity bill will be borne by contractor for the portion solely used by him forproviding the service.26. No room services are to be provided.27. Skinning of animals within or near the premises of student nurses’ Hostel ofSafdarjang Hospital is prohibited.28. In case Safdarjang hospital suffers by financial losses on account of the negligence ofthe contractor or as he commits a breach of the terms and condition laid down, thecontractor agrees to keep Safdarjang hospital indemnified of all such losses andagrees to compensate Safdarjang hospital for the same.29. Safdarjang hospital will provide the space for cooking & service of foods (i.e. kitchen& dining hall) in the Student Nurses’ Hostel or in the vicinity of Student Nurses’Hostel of College of nursing Safdarjang hospital. Required electrical wiring, furniture,fixtures & fittings, tables, chairs, partition, ceiling fans, exhaust fan will be providedby Safdarjang hospital as the authority of Safdarjang hospital feels appropriate.Replacement of Tube lights, bulbs etc. and maintenance thereof are the responsibilityof catering contractor.30. Food Licence has to be obtained by the contractor from New Delhi MunicipalCorporation within Six months from the date of awarding the contract to thecontractor. Safdarjang hospital authority will cooperate in this regard as per.31. Arrangement of fire extinguisher is to be ensured by the contractor in the saidpremises as per the Law of Govt. of Delhi32. The successful tender/contractor will have to execute and sign an undertaking Deedon a Rs. 100/ stamp paper in the format which contains all terms & condition.33. Original copy of contract Document and undertaking Deed both will be kept under thecustody of the Principal, College of Nursing & Safdarjang hospital and the photocopyof the same duly attested by the Principal, College of Nursing & Safdarjang hospitalwill be dept under the custody of the contractor.34. Either party can terminate the contract after giving two months prior notice to another.Notwithstanding the notice period said above the Safdarjang hospital shall for breachof contract agreement has the right to terminate the contract agreement by serving 24hrs. Notice to the contractor for which the security Deposit will be forfeited and thepenalty may be imposed on the contractor as decided by the authority of Safdarjanghospital.

35. Safdarjang hospital reserves the right to terminate the contract agreement in any of thefollowing events:i) If service rendered by the contractor is found unsatisfactoryii) If the quality of raw material, prepared food is found poor, andiii) If poor or no hygiene is maintained by the contractor in and around the saidpremises.36. The catering contractor shall attend the meeting of the mess committee, when asked todo so.37. It is assumed that the tender has thoroughly examined the terms and conditions givenin the tender
