Low / No Water FlowHow to check for Pump impeller clogged with debris.Always check to make sure there is power tothe unit. Unit should always be plugged into agrounded outlet and NEVER use an extensioncord. Check to see if the display is illuminated. If unsure if there is power to the outlet, plug alamp or blow dryer into outlet to ensure it isworking. If you are still unsure, have anelectrician check for you.1. Make sure 3 fitting caps have been removedfrom inside spa suction & return flow fittings. These are only used when cleaning filter, tokeep water from overflowing filter tank whenlid is removed. Also check the water level inthe spa. Make sure it is at the required level permanual instructions.2. Clean or replace filter cartridge. As thefilter begins to get dirty, the flow of waterslows down as the pump has a difficult timedrawing the water through the dirtimpregnated filter. This is the most commoncause of a spa not heating. The spacan not heat without good water flow.www.Activeforever.com

Verify water flow with hand on waterinlet (lower hose connection inside tub)Replace top & cover, let run until it reachesset or desired temperaturewww.Activeforever.com

NO HEAT PROBLEMS1. With GFCI plugged into wall outlet, is topsideLED displaying any Temperature Number. IfYES, OK GREAT, there is Power going to theunit. Next, lower the temperature down to 90degrees and let unit run for about 10 minutes. This gives the heating element a chance to cooldown. Now unplug the GFCI from the wall.2. If NO, push TEST & RESET on GFCI, if stillno DISPLAY, Check Outlet with Lamp or HairDryer to make sure outlet has powerPlace all 3 caps back inside the spawww.Activeforever.com

Open Bleed Valve on top of the filter bucket. There will a small amount of water to flow out.To avoid any water to spill onto floor orsurfaces, it is advised to place a towel aroundthe bleeder valvePlace towel around this section1 Turn filter lid retaining lock lid counter clockwise and remove, remove filter lid, lift out andremove filter cartridge. Make sure the Gaskethas been replaced securely2. Place filter lid on tank, thread on filter lidretaining lock clockwise until snug. Hand tightonly. Do not cross - thread.3. Remove 3 caps from inside spa suction &return fittings.4. Open air bleeder valve counter-clockwiseuntil water spews out, then close clock-wise.5. Plug GFCI back into wall outlet, settemperature to 104 degreesThis is the Gasket6. Place index finger over lowerwater return inlet hole and stop flow.Hold for 15 seconds, then pull fingerback approx. 1/2" and see if you feela quick short pulse of warm water. Ifyes, spa is now heating. This mayhave reset a pressure switch, but thisusually indicates a dirty filter/ lowflow condition. If No, go to next step.www.Activeforever.com

Some Power Pack units have a high limitreset button located under the pack about 2inches inward from right leg. While power pack is still unplugged!Push this button. You may or may not feela click. Open air bleeder valve counterclockwiseuntil water spews out, then closeclock-wise. Plug power pack into outlet, reset water temperature to 104.Repeat step #6 to test for warm waterReplace top & cover, let run for 24-48hours5. If all above fails to create a short pulse of warm water after stopping flow with finger, there may be a problem with heater element, pressure switch, high limit switch orelectronic control. The power pack may need to be sent to service center for repairs.General Notes: Most no heat issues are almost always the result of a dirty filter/lowflow, a tripped high limit button under pack, or the pump/filter tank was notproperly bled of air, resulting in a rattling pump noise and the pump not flowingANY water. Remember if the pump is not flowing a good stream of water the spaWILL NOT HEAT!!www.Activeforever.com
