This activity includes temporary or stop-gap measures tomaintain traffic when a surface is under severe distress. This would berough-patching with bituminous mix or spreading aggregate on roadspreviously bituminous or concrete. It would also include the same typeof operations on traffic bound maintenance (TBM) roads. (SectionRequired)SCHEDULINGSchedule this work year-round. SURFACE (A000)Abnormal Repairs, Removing & Replacing (A030)FOG-303ENVIRONMENTALIMPACTS Precondition equipment before loading bituminous material. Do not use diesel fuel.
