In the fall of2006, they released alimited edition, oakagedstrong alecalled “10” tocommemorate their10th anniversary,thus beginning anannual rite. Thisyear, theypresent “14,”the fifth releasefrom theirbarrel agedprogram. “14”was crafted fromseparate lots produced over severalyears, then carefully blended intothis truly unique and complex brew.Available in April in 22 oz. bottles.New Elysian Bête BlancheBelgian-Style TripelDeceptive and delicious, Elysian’s newspring seasonal, Bête Blanche (meaningwhite beast), is extremely drinkable,blonde and somewhat treacherous. Theyeast is lushly fruity and spicy, asignature found in every Chouffe beer.The combination of the Chouffe yeastand Ommegang’s recipe, yields aunique, flavorful and aromatic dose ofmagic.
