The group departed Sydneyfor New Zealand on 25 September.The College trains selectedmembers of the armed forces andcivil services in the broadest aspectof strategy and also studiesorganisation and direction of theresources of the Commonwealth,for war.Six Australian — four Sen.orservice and two civilian officers havebeen selected to attend the 1972course at the Royal College ofDefence Studies in the UnitedKingdom.Personnel selected include —Captain M P Reed.
