<strong>Rieter</strong> <strong>Automotive</strong> <strong>Systems</strong> is the leading supplier of integr<strong>at</strong>ed<br />
solutions of noise control and thermal management as well<br />
as interior trim for the automotive and truck industry. Our<br />
systems integr<strong>at</strong>e our core competences: Acoustics, Thermal<br />
Management and Design.<br />
The company employs a workforce of around 9 300 worldwide<br />
and gener<strong>at</strong>ed sales of 2 022 million CHF in 2008. <strong>Rieter</strong><br />
<strong>Automotive</strong> <strong>Systems</strong> is a division of the <strong>Rieter</strong> Group with<br />

Our experts in Acoustics develop, design, test and produce<br />
vehicle components and integr<strong>at</strong>e all parts into multifunctional<br />
systems and modules tailored to each vehicle.<br />
<strong>Rieter</strong> <strong>Automotive</strong> <strong>Systems</strong> has a strong background and<br />
capabilities in measurement techniques. Numerous tools<br />
are available for specific experimental characteriz<strong>at</strong>ion of<br />
m<strong>at</strong>erials and tre<strong>at</strong>ments. The systems approach balances<br />
the targets for the components and integr<strong>at</strong>es all parts into<br />
an optimized solution.<br />
In thermal management we develop products and solutions<br />
for thermal protection areas and experimental and numerical<br />
simul<strong>at</strong>ion methodologies for thermal comfort.<br />
We apply our in-depth know-how and experience to optimize<br />
thermal management in vehicles by:<br />
• measurements and calcul<strong>at</strong>ions<br />
• developing experimental methodologies, numerical<br />
simul<strong>at</strong>ion methods and measurement systems<br />
• developing tailor-made solutions and products<br />
• active testing in test bench and real running conditions.<br />
Aesthetics and comfort are a priority. Using our design, product<br />
and process engineering expertise, we develop solutions for<br />
interior trim products. Innov<strong>at</strong>ive and functional design<br />
with new ideas for lighting, storage, safety and m<strong>at</strong>erials are<br />
