SPECIALIST MEDICAL REFRIGERATORSOur medical refrigerators incorporate an electronic control system toensure stable temperatures and control the automatic defrosting. Ahigh visual temperature display on the front control panel allows foreasy monitoring of the cabinet temperature. For extra security there isa visual and audible alarm warning to indicate either too high or toolow temperatures within the cabinet. A facility for connection to anexternal alarm-monitoring unit is also standard equipment. Smallermedical refrigerators are fitted with internal bacteria-proof condensatewater collection tanks, while larger cabinets (models 520 and 720) haveautomatic condensate disposal systems fitted as standard.Porkka has been designed in co-operation with pharmaceuticalcompanies, hospital architects and users themselves. Attention has beenpaid in particular to the special demands imposed by hospital conditions– safety and hygiene. Flexibility and an ergonomic, modern appearancehave also been incorporated in to the equipment.MC 70 is also available without legs to be placed on top or insidefixtures, height being 720 mm. For adequate air circulation a 50 mmextra space on the top of the cabinet is required. The upper compartmentof the MC 300 may be adjusted within a temperature range of +2 to+15 °C (±2 °C), the lower compartment can be controlled from +8 to+15 (±2 °C). The alarm system is controlled by the upper compartment.Model MC 150/150 is equipped with two compressors, one for eachcompartment. Safety is guaranteed by versatilealarm and control systems. Easy-to-readtemperature display includes a built-in high/lowtemperature alarm, which is both optical andaudible and will activate after a set period. Anoptional version for connection to a centralalarm system or for a PC connection is alsoavailable.Latest technology features a top mountedrefrigeration system. The flush ceiling mountedfan assisted evaporator is the latest highefficiency type, which uses less space andincreases the overall interior height of thecabinets. All parts of the shelving system,including air circulation grids, can be removedby hand for easy all round sanitation.ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY INCONSTRUCTION AND OPERATIONPorkka is a choice for environment; componentsand refrigerants are all CFC and HCFC free.Ozone depletion rating is zero.
